We are seeking an Operational Technology Specialist to ensure continuity of site-level cybersecurity and operational technology activities.
About the Role
This position provides critical support while the current Site Lead is engaged in a global cybersecurity remediation program. The role focuses on executing and embedding enterprise cybersecurity standards at site level, ensuring alignment, operational continuity, and audit readiness within a highly regulated corporate environment. This is an execution-focused role. Defining or setting cybersecurity policy is out of scope.
Responsibilities
- Act as the site-level subject matter expert for OT and cybersecurity topics
- Apply, monitor, and communicate enterprise cybersecurity policies and standards to local stakeholders
- Maintain and validate OT asset inventory and classification in line with corporate governance frameworks
- Review the existing site security operating model and contribute to its alignment with enterprise standards
- Develop and maintain structured, audit-ready documentation, including roles, responsibilities, and governance models
- Define and document procedures related to the enterprise password management solution
- Coordinate patching activities, maintenance windows, and related communications in close collaboration with IT
- Ensure consistent execution of security practices across IT, OT, cybersecurity, and quality functions
- Support effective communication of cybersecurity requirements and operational impact to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
Strong practical knowledge of:
- Operational Technology (OT) environments
- Cybersecurity principles
- Risk-based security approaches
- Experience working in a large, governance-driven enterprise environment with strict compliance and audit requirements
- Proven ability to translate corporate policies into practical site-level implementation
Experience with:
- Asset management
- Security governance models
- Documentation in regulated or industrial environments
Also:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics clearly
- Full professional proficiency in Dutch and English
