Recruitment Manager | Building high-performing teams at ASEE Group
This role is responsible for commissioning, testing, and validating systems on projects, ensuring they operate to design specifications, performance standards, and client requirements. They will play a key role in delivering high-quality, safe, and reliable systems, working closely with project teams and clients.
Responsibilities
- Carry out commissioning and testing of systems including HVAC, piping, and plant equipment.
- Verify installations against design drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and test documentation.
- Perform system checks, functional testing, and performance validation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve commissioning issues, escalating where necessary.
- Liaise with project managers, design engineers, and clients to ensure smooth commissioning delivery.
- Prepare commissioning records, test sheets, and handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during commissioning activities.
- Support project teams with technical advice during installation and commissioning phases.
- Provide input into design reviews and project planning from a commissioning perspective.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of commissioning processes and procedures.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of systems and commissioning processes.

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
- Proven experience in commissioning systems within construction, M&E, or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, heating, and ventilation systems.
- Experience developing and completing commissioning procedures and documentation.
- Familiarity with industry standards, building regulations, and quality requirements.
- Understanding of health & safety regulations and commissioning best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently on site.
