QPS Netherlands is looking for an ambitious Financial Controller to join our Finance team in Groningen.
This is a broad, hands-on role for an experienced finance professional who wants to combine financial control, business partnering, and people leadership within an international CRO.
What you’ll do:
- Lead financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support statutory reporting, audits, tax requirements, cash flow, and financial controls
- Provide financial insights to senior management and partner with teams across QPS
- Coach Finance team members and help drive improvements in processes, systems, and automation
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO) or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in an international environment
- Broad knowledge of financial control, reporting, planning, audits, and Dutch statutory requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in Dutch and English
- A hands‑on, analytical approach, xgiwjmb leadership potential, and a strong interest in technology and process improvement
