I am seeking an experienced Freelance Project Control Manager to support a large-scale data center construction project in Groningen. This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced, technically complex environment.

Role Overview
As Project Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing cost control, planning, scheduling, reporting, and risk management for a major data center project. You will work closely with the project director, construction managers, and client representatives to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all project controls activities (cost, planning, risk, reporting)
- Develop and manage the master schedule (Primavera P6 or equivalent)
- Monitor project progress and performance against baseline
- Implement and maintain cost control systems and forecasting
- Manage change control processes
- Prepare monthly progress and financial reports
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in project controls within large construction projects
- Proven experience on data center or mission-critical projects (strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cost control and planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, etc.)
- Experience working in international, fast-paced environments
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
- Available for on-site work in Groningen
