This role is available in either Gothenburg, Sweden or Groningen, the Netherlands.

As a project manager, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional strategic projects in line with the company’s strategy and development plan. The project manager is responsible for the end-to-end project process: planning, execution, and follow-up. You will oversee the budget, timelines, deliverables, resource planning, follow-up, and stakeholder communication related to your specific project(s).

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for the end-to-end process of the project: planning, execution, and follow-up.
  2. Effectively lead and manage the core project team in the day-to-day execution of the project.
  3. Responsible for stakeholder management through transparent and continuous communication within established forums such as Steering Committee and Core Team meetings.
  4. Manage project budget and be responsible for resource management and allocation.
  5. Develop business cases for projects and be held accountable for executing according to stipulated timelines.
  6. Collaborate with other project managers to help develop and continuously improve the project management process.

Requirements

  1. MSc within business, strategy, engineering, or similar.
  2. More than 5 years of experience in project management.
  3. Experience working in or leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  4. Experience in working in or leading teams involved with technology or product development.
  5. Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English (proficiency in Swedish and/or Dutch is beneficial).
  6. Willingness to travel to interact with global team members and external partners.

Additional skills and/or experiences:

  1. Experience from the medical device or biotech industry – and the design control process.
  2. Familiarity with one or more regulatory and quality standards such as MDR, FDA, ISO13485, ISO14971, etc.
