We’re looking for a Medior Backend Python Developer to join our passionate team onsite in Groningen. If you’re driven by clean code, scalable architecture, and collaborative problem-solving – this could be the perfect fit.
What You’ll Do
As a Backend Python Developer, you’ll play a key role in building and improving the core systems behind our event management platform. Your responsibilities will include:
Designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services using Python.
Building APIs that power our web and mobile applications
Working closely with frontend developers, designers, and product owners to deliver impactful features
Ensuring high performance, security, and scalability across systems
Troubleshooting complex issues and contributing to technical improvements
Staying up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone with:
Solid experience in backend development with Python
Hands-on knowledge of frameworks such as FastAPI
Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and tools like Docker
Strong understanding of RESTful API architecture
Comfort working in an Agile environment with Git version control
A problem-solving mindset and a drive to build high-quality software
