SAP Payroll Consultant – 6+ Months
Are you an experienced SAP Payroll Consultant ready to take on a challenging migration project? We are looking for a Dutch-speaking professional to join a team in Groningen that’s working on the transition to a modern SAP landscape based on Linux and Kubernetes.
This role requires presence on-site in Groningen (hybrid model possible) and offers a competitive hourly rate around €80.
About the Assignment:
You will be part of a technical team responsible for the optimal performance of the SAP environment. Your main task will be migrating the current SAP systems to the latest SAP solutions on a Linux platform. This is part of a broader project aimed at replacing legacy systems (IBMi-Series) with SAP4HANA and integrating into the Enterprise Cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Migrate legacy SAP processes to SAP4HANA
- Provide technical administration of SAP systems running on Linux
- Perform installations, upgrades, monitoring, and daily operations
- Safeguard system architecture with a focus on performance, scalability, and availability
- Provide technical support for implementations, migrations, and upgrades
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and multidisciplinary IT teams
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of experience in technical development and administration of SAP products
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP4HANA
- 2+ years of experience with Linux (preferably RHEL)
- 2+ years of experience with containerization (e.g., Docker)
- Preferred: experience with Kubernetes, VMWare, or VCloud
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Fluent in Dutch
