We are recruiting experienced Finance Professionals for a range of client opportunities across the Netherlands. This consolidated role is designed to attract finance talent across multiple disciplines, including Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, FP&A, Business Controlling, and Financial Control.
This opportunity is well suited to professionals aiming to progress into senior finance or leadership-level roles within international or fast-growing organisations.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the specific role and organisational structure, responsibilities may include:
- Preparing and reviewing monthly management reports and financial statements
- Budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance reporting
- Managing general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close
- Supporting business units with commercial and strategic financial insights
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS and Dutch financial regulations
- Coordinating with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
- Improving financial controls, processes, and reporting efficiency
- Mentoring or managing junior finance team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- RA, RC, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
- 5–10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, Workday, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders
- Leadership potential and readiness for increased responsibility
